Note Plugin General Preferences
These options determine various global options as to how the Forms Plugin will operate.. The fields above are described in the table below:

Save images as file links |
Check this box if you do not want to embed image files within notes. If checked, then only a “link” to image files will be placed in the notes. Advantages: Your note database will be smaller if you do not embed images. Disadvantages: If you ever move the linked images, they will not appear in the note items. If you load your database onto a different PC, the images must be moved into the same location in the new PC or they will not be seen. |
Use white background when printing on black and white printers |
If you have changed your default note background color to something other than white, and use a black and white printer, NoteMagician will send the appropriate gray scale information to your printer. This will waste ink and look poor. We recommend checking this option so that your printed items will appear on a pure white background. |
Use white background when printing on color printers |
If you have changed your default note background color to something other than white, NoteMagician will send the proper color information to your color printer. Sometimes you may not want to waste the color ink on item printing. Although the default is to allow the exact color you chose to be printed, you may elect to check this box so that the printed item background will be white.. |
Maximum record time |
This selection sets the maximum length of a recording made with the built-in audio recorder. Setting this appropriate for your application will prevent you from using a large amount of disk space for excess, unwanted audio. |
Automatically start playback when audio link clicked |
Check this option if you want your saved audio clips to be automatically played when you click on their links within your notes. |
