Edit Menu
The Edit Menu provides different ways in which you can interact with a NoteMagician item, or perform simple operations on topics or folders. Plugins often add selections to this menu to accommodate editing features that are applicable to items of that type.
Standard Edit Menu Options
The menu items below will appear no matter what type of item is currently being displayed. However, it is possible that not all items will be enabled for every type of item.

Delete |
Deletes the items currently selected in the List Pane and moves them to the Deleted Items folder. If you want to permanently get rid of the item(s) you must select the item from the Deleted Items folder then choose Edit/Delete or press the trash can icon from the main toolbar. |
Undelete |
Restores the items selected in the Deleted Items folder to their original folder. If the original folder in which the item was located no longer exists, you will be give an option to recreate the topic/folder structure for those items. |
Rename |
Renames the single selected topic or folder, provided that the current focus is the Folder Pane. It will do nothing when the focus is in the List Pane or Item Pane. |
Brings up the Find dialog, which gives you powerful options for locating items containing a particular string of characters. The Search help topic explains all the options in the Find dialog. |
