NoteMagician is led by its founder, Lee Rautenberg, who has been credited with numerous firsts in the PC software industry. He was trained at M.I.T. Among his accomplishments are:
-
-
- first PC communications software, ASCOM IV, bundled by many early PC manufactures
- first multi-user bulletin board system hosting 6 or more simultaneous users on a single PC, Chairman
- first natural language database manager and application development package, FORMULA IV
- first and only multti-user operating system for early hobby PCs and small business systems
-
However, his crowning achievement was effectively being the father of the PC remote control industry with his pcAnywhere remote control product, sold to and marketed by Symantec Corporation for over 25 years. Most modern remote solutions, such as Citrix XenApp, VMware (now part of Broadcom), GoToMyPC, Team Viewer, etc. are based on principles developed by Lee.
The NoteMagician development team has over 100 years of communications and application development experience.
